<h2>A HUGE THANK YOU!</h2><p>We’ll be highlighting many of you in an upcoming post, but for now, we want to express our deepest gratitude for your generosity—whether through donations, toy collections, volunteering, or sharing your unique talents. Your support truly means the world to us. We met our wish list and exceeded expectations this season, <strong>THANKS TO THOSE WHO DONATED ONE WAY OR ANOTHER!&nbsp;</strong></p><ul><li>This Saturday, December 14th, thanks to YOU, we’ll be bringing joy to children and families in need with our second "Breakfast with Santa." The event will feature a delicious buffet, cupcakes, cookies, refreshments, and entertainment, all benefiting @hermanosdelacalleusa.</li><li>Then, on December 16th, we’ll be donating board games to 80 students from the McArthur Educational Center in Homestead.</li><li>In total, 160 children/students, and 40 families in need will experience the magic of the season thanks to our “ADOPT A FAMILY” initiative.</li><li>So far, we’ve collected and purchased over 250 toys, including board games, creative kids' sets, Christmas bracelets, and holiday décor just to mention a few.</li><li>We’re also excited to offer music by @I Found My DJ, and photography by @jandro. Visuals, and fun activities like face painting and hairstyling by @blissbeautiquesalon, @Ballons by Kenia Fonseca, proud Corporate Sponsors, and of course one of our special guests Santa, and that’s just the beginning!</li></ul><p>Fourteen years ago (15th toy drive collections), our president Ana, alongside her family and passionate volunteers and donors, launched the Holiday Toy Drive with one simple goal: to bring joy to our community. This special occasion will benefit children and families from the Hermanos de la Calle Organization, to bring holiday joy to 60-70 children and their parents. Our non-profit events are between 130-150 ppl under Toy Drive 'N Events Inc.&nbsp; &nbsp;</p><p>Our 2024 Wish List includes items like unwrapped brand-new toys, sponsorships for breakfast, meeting room rental, refreshments, decor, and entertainment for the children. We invite you to explore our list and consider contributing to making this event truly magical.</p><p>In addition, our "Adopt a Family" initiative is focused on supporting parents by providing grocery gift cards and bags of essential food items. Now officially recognized as a 501(c)(3) organization, we welcome corporate sponsors to join us through monetary donations or in-kind contributions. CELEBRATING OUR FIRST ANNIVERSARY

<p>What a wonderful surprise after nearly a year of waiting—we’ve officially received our nonprofit 501(c)(3) status!</p><p>This is incredible news that opens the door for more grants and the opportunity to help even more families in need. As we approach our first anniversary under Toy Drive ‘N Events, we reflect on the challenges we’ve faced while serving children and families for almost 15 years.</p><p>Since 2010, our family and I have been devoted to caring for children in need. Launching Toy Drive ‘N Events allowed us to carry on this legacy.<br></p><p>We’ve accomplished so much in a short time, including</p><ul><li>2024 Breakfast with Santa - Dec 2024, and more.</li><li>Successful Adopt a Family initiative</li><li>Summer Back to School Backpack Fundraiser&nbsp;</li><li>Mother’s Day Luncheon</li><li>Valentine’s Raffle</li><li>Project Upstart&nbsp;</li><li>2023 "Breakfast with Santa"<br></li></ul><p> Each event reflects our commitment and love for this important work to our community.</p><p>Now, with our 501(c)(3) status, we’re ready to soar while staying grounded. It truly takes honesty, responsibility, and a good heart to make a difference.<br></p><p>We are incredibly thankful for your continued support of our beloved foundation!</p>
