We’ll be highlighting many of you in an upcoming post, but for now, we want to express our deepest gratitude for your generosity—whether through donations, toy collections, volunteering, or sharing your unique talents. Your support truly means the world to us. We met our wish list and exceeded expectations this season, THANKS TO THOSE WHO DONATED ONE WAY OR ANOTHER!
- This Saturday, December 14th, thanks to YOU, we’ll be bringing joy to children and families in need with our second "Breakfast with Santa." The event will feature a delicious buffet, cupcakes, cookies, refreshments, and entertainment, all benefiting @hermanosdelacalleusa.
- Then, on December 16th, we’ll be donating board games to 80 students from the McArthur Educational Center in Homestead.
- In total, 160 children/students, and 40 families in need will experience the magic of the season thanks to our “ADOPT A FAMILY” initiative.
- So far, we’ve collected and purchased over 250 toys, including board games, creative kids' sets, Christmas bracelets, and holiday décor just to mention a few.
- We’re also excited to offer music by @I Found My DJ, and photography by @jandro. Visuals, and fun activities like face painting and hairstyling by @blissbeautiquesalon, @Ballons by Kenia Fonseca, proud Corporate Sponsors, and of course one of our special guests Santa, and that’s just the beginning!
Fourteen years ago (15th toy drive collections), our president Ana, alongside her family and passionate volunteers and donors, launched the Holiday Toy Drive with one simple goal: to bring joy to our community. Since then, we’ve raised funds, collected toys, and impacted the lives of over 8,000 children and 800 families.
Through Toy Drive ‘N Events Inc., we’re proud to partner with organizations like District 6 Schools, Project Upstart, and Hermanos de la Calle Org in the past year.
Your continued support makes all of this possible, and we’re incredibly grateful. As we grow, our commitment to spreading joy year-round only strengthens.
